Hannah Pessina

Hello! My name is Hannah Pessina, and I am a provisionally licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I graduated from University of Central Missouri with a masters degree in Human Development and Family Science with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. I am also credentialed as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor and have extensive work in helping people in recovery from substances and alcohol. My passion is assisting couples of all demographics and sexual orientations in working together to heal their relationship. I enjoy using the Emotional Focused Couples Therapy model when working with couples as I believe it integrates our very basic biological need to connect with one another for survival. I also am passionate about providing support and helping clients work through religious trauma and I have done extensive work in my own personal therapy.
