Christina C. Begay is a Licensed Master Social Worker. She earned her Master’s degree from Missouri State University and her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Behavioral Health from Evangel University. Christina and her husband of 16 years have two children, a daughter and son. They have a heart to serve others and enjoy seeing people experience freedom and find healing from life’s
challenges. Christina is from Houston, Texas and bilingual in both English and Spanish. She has had various opportunities to walk with individuals navigating substance use disorder, grief/loss, anxiety, depression, co-dependency, trauma, family conflict, poverty, intimate partner violence, legal problems, relationship issues, parenting challenges, and more.
Christina creates a safe and supportive environment while utilizing a multicultural
strengths-based/trauma informed lens and approaches that are individually tailored to each client’s unique situation and needs. Client Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Christian Counseling, Play Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and Motivational interviewing are some of the therapeutic modalities she uses when working with individuals/families/groups, children, adolescents, adults, and senior citizens. Christina is passionate about empowering individuals from all walks of life and is available for in home, office, and telehealth services.
