Ashley Ihrig-Opitz

Ashley earned her Master's Degree in Counseling at Missouri State University, where she also got her Bachelor's Degree double majoring in Sociology and Psychology. She has worked in the human services field all her adult life, and worked as a nurse assistant until she became a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor.

 

I believe that every person has an inner understanding of what they need to do to get what they want out of life, but that certain challenges have prevented them from following their path. My goal is to help walk with my clients on their journey to understanding, healing, and growth using person-centered and cognitive-behavioral approaches. I work with a variety of clients but especially enjoy working with teens and adults who struggle with trauma, depression, and anxiety.
