Ally Allen

Ally earned her Master’s of Science Degree in Mental Health Counseling with a certificate in Play Therapy from Missouri State University. She also received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Spanish along with a certificate in Forensic Child Psychology from MSU. Ally completed her counseling internship with Connected Counseling Services prior to becoming licensed as a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC).  She currently serves in the United States Army National Guard. 

 

Ally utilizes self-compassion and self-validation as part of the growth process. She thinks it is imperative to meet clients of all ages and identities where they are now. Ally has a special interest in working with family units as part of behavior modification. Ally enjoys teaching children and adults grounding techniques and coping skills. Ally’s goal for the clinical environment is to provide a safe and healing environment.
